“ I visited for the first time for the pork steak. It had been several years since I had it in Kameyama, Mie, while traveling. They offer free refills of rice and cabbage, but it was so delicious that I ended up eating a perfectly balanced meal using the typical Japanese triangle eating technique, and missed the chance for a second serving. They also had a wide selection of lunch items, so I'll save that for next time. Also, the restaurant was full even though it was after 1pm on a weekday. It goes without saying why. ”

“ On December 19, 2023, I suddenly had a craving for tonteki, so I visited for the first time. I went around 12:00 on a weekday and was able to get a seat right away. [Parking] There are about 20 parking spaces, but it's a bit of a challenge for large vehicles. [Seating] There were tables for four and about three tatami rooms. The interior of the restaurant had stylish lighting and what looked like wooden pillars, giving it a modern feel. The tonteki set meal was 1,500 yen (excluding tax) and came with shredded cabbage, pork topped with butter and lemon. There was diced cabbage underneath the tonteki, and when I ate it with the garlic soaked in the sauce, it really went down a treat with the rice. The butter made the sauce a little mellower. The meat retained the pork flavor and was tender. It was delicious even when cold! I could have had more rice, cabbage, and soup, but I decided not to today. ( ´ ; ︵ ; ` ) I'm also curious about the shrimp fry set meal, so I'll definitely come back! However, I heard there's also a Katsuichiban in Hiroe... Which one should I go to? ( ^ ^ ; ) ”
